So I typically don’t drink IPAs, as my palate hasn’t acquired an affinity for hoppy/bitter flavors quite yet. But since I love Dogfish Head, and it’s on tap at my restaurant, I drank it. The first few sips were bracingly bitter for my taste, but by the end of the first glass and definitely during the second and third (they were wine glasses), I began to appreciate the fruity and floral flavors and smells of the beer. Once I got used to the amount of hops, I realized how well balanced the brew was (like all of the other dogfish head beers). I just can’t get over how fantastic everything from this brewery is. If their worst version of an IPA (compared to the 90 and 120) is still drinkable and delicious, you know they have some skills. Check out this beer, and anything else these guys make. You’ll love it!

"If their worst version of an IPA (compared to the 90 and 120)"
I wouldn’t call it their worst version. I think it is just a different ABV, and body profile.
The best comparison I could come up with on short notice is the Rochefort 6/8/10. I dount they would call the 6 their worst beer.
